Why am I always called to do work around the house?

I feel your pain. I'm always asked to help out around the house and fix pretty much everything that gets damaged in the slightest, from small things to big things. Sometimes I consider just stopping with it because it is a bit excessive, but I know that (no prejudice feelings intended) no one else in my family could do it as well because they aren't good with fixing things. So in the end, I keep helping, and in the end it sort of pays off, considering my parents respect me more than my lazy brother and give me more privileges regardless of him being older. Hope I helped!
