I got suspended for asking to go to the washroom during a lockdown?

i live in calgary alberta, i was thinking of asking the calgary board of education to take a look at this, basicly it was a practice lockdown and i asked the teacher beside me in a whispery voice if i can go washroom,(as a joke) and i had to goo, they suspended me because they said i could of gotten everyone killed, but really was a suspension necessary?
