I absolutely detest the inaccuracy of the word "homophobia". What do you think of this as a replacement?

I've often thought that was a inaccurate term to apply to a made up affliction. The connotation also being that said person is also secretly homosexual. Does that mean that claustrophobics secretly yearn to be sequestered in a box?
