Brown spotting weeks before period?

Well got my period on the 12th of may and was normal went away in 6 days. Now on the 30th i went to the washroom and noticed a little brown spotting.. didn't think to much about it figured my period was coming early and would be here the next day..It is now june 2 and no period and im still spotting. I have no idea whats going on and i don't want to go to the doctors if its nothing. does anyone have any idea whats going on with me?
