Are the words temple and tantra related by origin?

According to the etymology of the two words, the Proto Indo European root of Temple 'temp' means 'to stretch.' This is the same for the PIE root of Tantra 'ten' which again means 'to stretch.' Tantra is of course the esoteric branch of Hinduism.
